Saddle Attachment – Smarter, Faster Tubing Connections
Workplace Defenders is excited to introduce our newly engineered Saddle Attachment – a purpose-built, cast-moulded component designed to streamline the way aluminium tubing is secured across height safety systems.
Previously, extruded aluminium pieces were cut down to size and fixed using rivets, requiring pre-drilling and added installation time. Our new saddle eliminates that inefficiency. With its precisely contoured shape, the tubing can now be securely attached using just **tek screws** – no pre-drilling and no cutting
Available in several variants to suit different applications:
Vertical Saddle: For guardrails and ladder handrails, where the tubing needs to mount perpendicular to the attachment surface.
Angled Saddle: Designed for 45-degree handrail braces, maintaining proper alignment and support.
Multidirectional Saddle: A flexible design that allows for positioning in almost any direction to create a snug, secure fit between the structure and the tubing.
Knee Rail Saddle: Purpose-built for attaching knee rails to the side of guardrail posts, this variant offers a compact, secure connection point that keeps lower rails aligned and unobtrusive.
This innovation will be progressively rolled out in upcoming Workplace Defenders projects, offering a cleaner, faster, and more consistent installation process.
