Workplace Defender is committed to environmental leadership, instilling the highest environmental values in all employees/subcontractors, utilising the best environmental practices in all we do.

Environmental considerations are incorporated into our business planning, from conducting our operations in an environmentally sound manner, to working with our clients and business partners to reduce environmental impact as much as possible. All business is conducted to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as well as relevant industry codes of practice. We continually strive to improve our environmental performance and operations and actively educate and train all employees to work in an environmentally responsible manner.

We will continue to drive down the environmental impact of our operations by the following:
  • Compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory and other requirements for protection of environment including requirements of ISO 14001 Standard;
  • Integrating environmental targets and objectives into our business strategy and reviewing our progress towards achieving them;
  • Continuously improving our work practices in relation to their environmental impact;
  • Identify activities that may have an adverse effect on the environment and mitigate their impact as far as practicable;
  • Providing appropriate training and information to employees, including subcontractors, to ensure that they are aware of any potential environmental issues in the workplace;
  • Minimising waste by using our natural resources efficiently;
  • Reviewing our Environment Policy periodically to ensure it remains relevant to our work activities.
